Everything Great service, huge amount of perfectly cooked grilled chicken, the best endless salad.

Gotta love the classics. Clearman's has been around for quite some time. Whenever I come out south bound on the 5 I always see it and remember the good food. It stands out due to the winter log cabin aesthetics. Very transformative to another era. I came in this time on a Monday right around 1:00pm. Our hostess sat us down in the right dining area. The left side has the bar. It was open open lots of room. Seats are very low to the ground. Shelled peanuts come on all the tables. And yes toss those shells on the ground. Debbie, our waitress was so sweet and genuine. Very nice and attentive. A true gem of Clearman's. We all know why you and everyone comes for. The two salads and cheese bread. I think in order to get this you must order dinner options. So we started with a jumbo shrimp cocktail. And the Steak and Shrimp dinner. Accompanying the Steak and Shrimp are the two salads, cheese bread to start, rice pilaf, and a baked potato. Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail - Fresh, deveined. Cocktail sauce is punchy with the horseradish. Good. Red Cabbage and Blue cheese Salads - So you get two salads. One is an iceberg w blue cheese dressing. The other is a red cabbage with an olive oil m vinegar based dressing. Separately they are very simple and delicious. Debbie mentioned to mix them as they compliment each other. And oddly they do. Very good and not too filling. Garlic Cheese Bread - Give me strength when I am weak! This bread is crack. It's small and hot. Very tasty, cheesy and garlicky. It's like a Texas toast + garlic bread + sizzler bread minus the size. One thing about this bread besides it being delicious is that it's also very greasy. That's the only downside. Steak - Always cooked perfectly. I do think the cut might not be the highest but it's really up there. From what I remember and this time that the steaks did not have any fat / gristle. This might be a good or bad thing. If you're looking for just an old fashioned steak then you come to the right place. Great for the price and taste. Grilled Shrimp - Heavenly. Came with drawn butter. And are about large size compared to the Jumbo Shrimp in the cocktail. Comes with drawn butter. Bomb. Rice Pilaf - Very reminiscent of a grandma style rice. Like a perfectly cooked rice-o-roni. It's really good. Not fluffy and well seasoned. Baked Potato w cheese butter - Im a fan of baked potatoes. Simple butter salt n pepper is all you need. Maybe some sour cream. This one can come topped with a cheese butter. Which oddly doesn't melt until you mix it into the potato internally. The flavor is good. Kind of points to a stuff baked potato. I'd probably pass on this next time and get the normal potato. Still good but I think I'm more of a fan of a normal old school baked potato. I hope Clearman's maintains and is here to stay. I always enjoy coming here after Disneyland or when Im in the area. Thanks again Debbie for the great service.

BEST. WINGS. EVER!!! I mean seriously these are hands down the best wings you will ever get. They're crispy, HUGE, and seasoned so well you don't NEED the buffalo sauce. Onion rings 10/10 & likewise for their cheesy garlicky bread! Lemon drop martinis were perfection. I also ordered a glass of Chardonnay that's new to their menu & it was soooooo smooth. I can't wait to try more! Shout out to the bartender because service was amazing! I love the decor of old school steakhouse vibes plus some really cool art. Their stained glass chandeliers are so cute. 10000/10 i genuinely can't believe i've lived in southern california my whole life and didn't come here.

This place will always have a place in my heart. I have been coming here since I was a kid. I could eat those two salads all day. The bread speaks for itself. I think the streak is ok and I could pass on the rice pilaf but not the awesome potato. Strangely, I think the potato got smaller or maybe I just remember it as being much bigger. No matter, you still never leave hungry, especially if you started with a few peanuts. It always feels like you are stepping back in time when you come to this place. I now bring my kids just like my family used to bring me. Remember to grab a root beer candy on the way out.

The best service the best quality of food. I've been there many times after live theater. We were waited on as fast as they could. The place is always busy and the food is top rated. The waiter or waitress whatever one we had was always asking me, if I wanted my coffee cup filled up again asked us if we wanted anything else. We couldn't be treated any better than that top of the line service.

Make sure your whole party is on time as they don't seat till the whole party is there. What's nice is they will serve the salad and red cabbage and cheese bread family style while you are waiting on dinner. Warning... do not take anyone with a peanut allergy here!!! It is known for having peanuts and peanut shells everywhere. Great for kids as it is like visiting an old camping lodge. Kids can be kids. I think they get a kick being able to drop peanut shells on floor. Lots of food is served. These days with everything being expensive, it's nice to get a big serving. Good for family or larger gatherings as they have nice big wood tables. The menu has various combos of seafood and steak. We actually split the lobster and steak combo and still had leftovers but we are just average eaters. Others had combo with medium size scallops. Service was very good. We had drinks at the bar and peanuts while waiting for our whole party to arrive. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary with a party of 6.

Clearman's is a classic nostalgic spot. Been going there for over 30 years and it's still a good meal. Got California burger, it was tender and juicy, contains real steak, great cheese and avocado makes it decadent. Love that they have saw dust on the floor and free peanuts at the table. Great place to hang out with big groups and enjoy drinks and hearty food.

We came here for Sunday dinner and had a very good dinning experience. We were met by a welcoming and warm hostess that set the tone for the evening. We were escorted to our table and immediately attended by our server that was polite and friendly. I ordered a lemon drop martini that was very well crafted and delicious with the right amount of alcohol and other ingredients. Now for the food, I had the seafood combo that was simply delicious and full of flavors. The rice, baked potato, house salad, and cheese bread were so good and transported my tastebuds to various levels. Each dish we ordered showcased the restaurant's commitment to delivering high quality meals. The ambiance is very cool and festive with great indoor decor that included amazing wall art, amazing chandeliers, and taxidermy animals on display. The building feels like you're everything into a log cabin, we love it here and will definitely be back.

Love to stop here to get their Cheese bread, red cabbage salad and a quart of their House dressing for green salad. When dining in I like to get the Lumberjack steak medium rare and their football sized baked potato. If you are looking to eat lighter get their soup and then an order of salad and cheese bread - all are fantastic
